So you’re reading this post because you’re curious about how you’re smudging subconsciously. Although many don’t use the exact smudging tools that I smudge with on a daily basis. Believe it or not, you’re no different from me when it comes to performing smudging rituals. The intentions from my smoke are used for energetic purposes. And you may use your smoke for recreational purposes. Or maybe celebratory purposes. Lets dive deeper into different ways of smudging.

In my world. Smudging is used in my environment as a healing tool. To calm my anxiety, balance my emotions, and for overall cleansing. I use all different forms of smudging. For example, I love the exotic smells of incense. Rather if it’s in the flavor of banana, rose, or lavender. These different scents bring alignment into my happy space.

Living an “Holistic Lifestyle” from my childhood and now into my adulthood. It came to my conclusion that everyone smudges each and everyday but in different ways. I’ll share some examples on how most people are willingly unknowingly participating in this ritual. For instance I love to smudge while using sage in all forms. From white sage, red dragon blood sage, white copal, and palo santo sticks.

Where there’s fire there’s sure to be some smoke. Rather it’s coming from a cigarette, grilling on the pit, beauty rituals, and etc. Numerous centuries, smudging played a great significant role in religious practices. in burials, baptism, weddings, and binding evil spirits. In today’s society we’ve adopted these same rituals but in different ways.

For example:

• Backyard bbqs is a form of smudging. Preparing your pit and firing it up so that the smoke smudges properly into the air. This is a practice of a celebritorial ritual. Family reunions, birthday parties, graduations, and intimate family gatherings. Requires a specific rhythm that’s been practice as far as the day of time. First step of this ritual is by cleansing out your pit from old debris. Choosing the right charcoal. Season your meat to taste. Playing some feel good music to keep the vibe flowing. As the smudge from the smoke releases into the air.

• Cigarettes, blunts, and hookahs are also a form of smudging. Most people smoke to relieve stress from their everyday lives. Knowingly that certain substances are poisonous and may develop unhealthy risk. Willingly paying the supplier for that fix or next hit to be released into their environment and temple. The smudge from the smokes gives smokers a relief after performing the ritual from inhaling. Smoke from these substances are used as a social gathering. The smudge from the smoke connects bounds, friendships, and in most situations a guide for being therapeutic.

• Beauty rituals are also a form of smudging. Facial steaming is for opening up the pores. Hair steaming is for longer and healthier locs. Saunas steaming is for weight loss and detoxifying toxins from the the body. The smoke from the steams plays a specific role in the ritual of smudging. Subconsciously we’er clearing all things needed to be removed for a robust lifestyle. Creating flawless glowy skin, luxurious vibrant hair, and a structured physic body tone.

In conclusion,

Cooking, bounding over campfires, and also fireworks are all examples of smudging. The common denominator of this post is all about the release of the smoke into the air. All substance that’s lit with fire and has intentions for setting the mood of it’s purposes is a form of smudging. These are all examples of how we subconsciously participates in daily rituals. In the form of smudging.

Oh! How I love a pretty clutch purse, it’s the simple things that cost the most.

Clutch purses are the “Divas” of all handbags. There’s never no wrong alternative picking out the perfect evening bag that’s fit for you and your dapper. Rather the occasion is formal wear, a special night out on the town with the girls, or just to grab a cup of coffee. Seizing on how my mood may be and how I see myself representing my fashion on that day. My first go to is grabbing one of my astonishing clutch purses.

I have a lovable affair for antiques and collectibles items.  Article’s that are amusing, distinctive, and enjoyable.  Particularly the ones with It’s special characteristics. Including handbags that are uniquely designed. Which goes with my splendid and spectacular collection’s of head crowns Welcome To My Boudoir’ Of Head Crowns. 

The strategic details of the embroidery’s on each clutch purse is so exquisite and rare. There’s so much flavor that pops out from its vibrant colors that’s just exciting and full of life. Sort of reminds me of that song by Q-Tip “Vibrant Thang”.

Being a fashionista is universal language. There’s an Art turning your accessories into admiration and a phenomenon masterpiece.  Being applauded once you step into a gazing room gives you the impression of lights, cameras, and action. Making this small yet inquisitive accessory a great conversational piece.

As an artist, expressing ourselves is a gift of talent. Bringing creativity from within the soul is fashion. Fashion has a purpose that’s inclusive in its own elegance.

In conclusion, hand bags come in many different sizes, shapes, and bling. Which compliments the taste of one identity. For me I chooses what makes me feel powerful and sexy. A decision standing ten toes down of whom I am and what I represents.

My childhood memories of “Cinderella” dressed in a bad ass and flowing gown. Happily walking down the aisle to her “Prince Charming” with a customized flattering treasured crown left me speechless. I’ve watched this fairytale movie over a thousands of times. Fascinated on the power of love. And this is when I became obsessed with jewel hair crowns.

I also directed my first music video during Covid based on “The Cinderella Story”. However, I had to switch it up to the relations of my culture. Instead of attending “Prince Charming” formal ball. As “The Artist April” I was to attend “The Get It Gurl” ball. What a joy of watching your dreams come true. The link to watch the video “Show Em’ How To Walk” is below.

When the late great Tupac said you gotta keep your head up.

I’ll forever over-stand his message to not only balance my crown chakra with dignity and femininity. But to always think highly of myself by being strategic of what I allow into my thoughts. Long live the days when words were so powerfully spoken to uplift us as food for thought.

Historically, crowns symbolizes “High Priestess Energy”. Energy that represents tenacity, royalty, and of humanity.

Crowns too are just as spiritual and diverse. Being of Native American emeralds and gemstones aren’t the only rare jewels that represents a chosen one. Ancestral knowledge of feathers, exotic species, and different tribes also represented royalty.

Embracing my strength taught me of valuable lessons. Lessons on giving and receiving. My admiration of crowns connected me to my devine femininity. Being soft, sensual, and confident. 

Collecting hair crowns is not only for my personal desires. It’s become a passion crowning amazing women with a honorable gift. Accomplishing this goal is given me a space in my “Beauty/Glamour” room. Welcoming friends and family to shop around choosing which crowns excites them the most.

In my eyes I see every woman unique is a be crowned with high honor.
